My 2 day short trip was awesome. It was relaxing and much needed time spent away from work. Pictured here is Vida, my vacation companion. We knew OF each other and have engaged in some small talk, but we didn't even know each other when we decided she'd go on the trip! Funny thing is, come to find out, we both hate small talk. So, we got to ditch the small talk and learned a lot about each other and our beliefs.
We saw this huge chair in a shopping plaza so we just had to sit in it. I was really disappointed Santa wasn't there so I could sit on his lap and give him my Christmas wishes.
What did we do while we were there? Well, we went on a hilly hike, ate filet and lobster/shrimp fajitas that were almost too good looking to eat, did some sight-seeing of houses comparable to the square-footage of a shopping mall, shopped a little, attended Ronda's Christmas party, watched Pride & Prejudice and slept in. I always love going back to Nashville...and sharing it with someone made it that much greater!

Who'd want to have a Santa that big, really? That's the last thing we need, a King Kong Santa running amok and destroying Nashville. We'd have to get Grinchzilla to come over from Japan and stop him. And you know that once the Japanese get someplace it's incredibly hard to displace them. What a mess.
Oh the hubris of man and our desire for giant people.
The Japanese just buy out our companies. They are content with living in their homeland. It's the chinese that we have to worry about.

yay for nashville! i have never sat in that chair though. maybe next time i go that will be on my list of things to do.
