vacation's gotta end...sniff

I started my much-needed-for-sanity vacation almost 2 weeks ago. On monday, I will return to the J-O-B. Some people are anxious to start work after a long vacation. They get easily bored and desire to go back to their job to make a difference...to feel as if they contribute to this world in some way. Well, I too, like to to feel as if I make a difference. That is why I can't wait...to quit my job!!! Unlike many others, my vacation has fueled my desire to quit my job. Can I feel as though I am making a contribution to this world without Starbucks?? CERTAINLY!! I kind of like getting out of bed when I wake up, working out when I please, doing yardwork without any time crunches, winning at blackjack in vegas...yep, I won.

Anyhow, I have to work on monday. Isn't it strange how you can have something you hate and that same something is in most people's desires. I mean, how many people have I run in to that after hearing what I do for a living, say I'm so "lucky". I think, LUCKY??? Yeah, I don't like this job at all. Then I get to thinking (i know, scary)...they are almost right. I am not lucky, but blessed. Yeah, so what if i don't like the job, but it does provide me with an income that I can live off of.

Andre Aggisi's old pad was a few houses down from where we stayed...not to mention the other houses in the neighborhood used to inhabit Bill Cosby and Frank Senatra. Yeah, so the house we stayed at in Vegas was pretty nice. We were very blessed!
